Launch of the GO Justice Book Club

Launch of the GO Justice Book Club

We are delighted to announce that the School of Law is starting the GO Justice Book Club.

The GO Justice Book Club will be an excellent opportunity to get to know other staff and students and engage with legal professionals as we explore a diverse range of socially informed texts. We hope you will enjoy the chance to read engaging material outside a class setting and the opportunity to discuss issues with legal experts in a more relaxed, informal setting.

The first book we will read will be ‘The Secret Barrister’. A powerful indictment of the British justice system, this book offers a searing first-hand account of the human cost of the criminal justice system.

Participants will receive a free copy of the book.

Our first event will take place on Wednesday 29th March, 5-7.

Places are limited so please email law-workshop@glasgow.ac.uk if interested. Registration will close on Wednesday 8th March.
