Dana Ahmed - Ocean Rights Defender - in conversation
Today, Monday 8 June, is World Ocean Day! Eight special guests are joining World Ocean Day for Schools 2026 as part of their 'blue careers' Live Q&A.
The School of Law is incredibly proud of our Common Law LLB and Politics student Dana Ahmed who features as one of the eight speakers as an ocean rights defender.
Earlier this spring Dr Matina Papadaki caught up with Dana for our podcast to talk about Dana’s research into the Red Sea coral reefs, becoming a National Geographic Society Young Explorer, as well as her work to elevate climate and ocean literacy: Listen to Dana and Dr Papadaki in conversation on the School of Law podcast.
